SNIP Inclusion Materials SNIP Inclusion Tool Kit: printable pdf version This tool kit has helpful information for all agencies who want to better include children & youth with disabilities into their programs. Chapters correspond to the SNIP Inclusion Standards to better assist agencies in meeting both the minimum and high quality standards. Inclusion Resources Pamphlet: printable pdf version This pamphlet shows agencies and organizations in San Francisco who provide assistance to those wishing to include children & youth with disabilities. SNIP DOCUMENTS The Landscape document provides an overview of key data on San Francisco’s children and youth with disabilities, provides a summary of best practices to support inclusion, presents case studies of successful inclusion programs, identifies inclusion services and supports at the local, state, and national level, and lists existing programs funded by San Francisco’s Department of Children, Youth andtheir Families (DCYF). SNIP Needs Assessment document The Needs Assessment shows the results of a series of focus groups conducted with families of children and youth with disabilities and service providers, as well as the results of a comprehensive needs assessment distributed to all DCYF funded agencies, and outlines the current needs of children and youth with disabilities in San Francisco as expressed by respondents. The Needs Assessment forms the basis of the SNIP Strategic Plan. SNIP Appendix to the Needs Assessment document The Appendix to the Needs Assessment contains the raw data from the focus groups and surveys used to gather data for the Needs Assessment. SNIP Strategic Plan document (spanish, chinese) The Strategic Plan outlines SNIP’s goals for the coming years, including direct service, systems change, training, and technical assistance. SNIP 2007 Inclusion Training Course Catalogue 33 free trainings to choose from in six different areas relating to the inclusion of children & youth with disabilities. |
