OUR VISION

Children and youth with disabilities are safe and healthy, have a sense of belonging, and have a full range of opportunities to participate meaningfully in the community and reach their full potential.

DOES YOUR PROGRAM NEED SUPPORT TO SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDE CHILDREN & YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES?

If you’re struggling to find the most effective ways to include children and youth with disabilities into your program, you aren’t alone. SNIP can help! We provide free training and free on-site technical assistance to the San Francisco Department of Children, Youth & their Families (DCYF) funded agencies. Contact us today to talk about the ways SNIP can help you successfully include all children!

HIGHLIGHTS

We are pleased to announce that DCYF has funded SNIP for the next two years to work with after school programs serving children 6-13 in San Francisco. We are looking forward to new partnerships with after school providers and deepening the ones we have begun during the first three years of funding.

SNIP will be partnering with Instituto Familiar de la Raza and Edgewood Children's Center in an exciting venture to pair inclusion strategies with mental health consultation and knowledge to ensure all children are successful in after school programs. SNIP will also be working closely with the After School for All Technical Assistance Collaborative (AFA-TAC) to add training and technical assistance on inclusion to their various professional development activities for after school staff.
